Situated in the North West Gaeltacht area in Co. Mayo, our club proudly reflects the strength, warmth, and culture of our area.
Our volunteers, coaches, parents, and supporters are the backbone of everything we do. Their dedication ensures our club continues to grow and thrive. From our leanaí beaga taking their first swing to our older players leading by example, our Club hopes to encourage, laughter, friendship, and lasting memories.
Hurling and camogie are among the oldest and fastest field sports in the world, with roots stretching back over 3,000 years in Irish history and mythology. Tales of legendary warriors such as Cú Chulainn tell of feats of strength and skill with a hurley long before the games were formally organised. In 1884, the founding of the GAA helped preserve and promote our native games, ensuring that hurling and camogie would thrive for generations to come.
It is within this proud tradition that our club stands today. Hurling and camogie are part of who we are. Played with skill, speed, courage, and pride, they reflect the resilience and spirit of our Gaeltacht home.
Re-established in 2022 after a short time away, our club returned with renewed energy, pride, and determination. Rooted in tradition and driven by community spirit, we are proud to represent the heart of the North West Gaeltacht in County Mayo — an area rich in heritage, language, and passion for Gaelic games.
Our revival was more than a reopening of a club; it was reigniting a shared love for the sport within our community. Since 2022, players, families, volunteers, and supporters have come together to rebuild something special — a club that honours the past while shaping a strong future.
We are more than a team. We are a community.
As a club based in the Gaeltacht, our Irish language is woven naturally into club life. Whether you’re a fluent speaker or just starting out, you’ll always be welcome — and you might even pick up a few focail Ghaeilge along the way.
We are committed to:
- Developing confident, skilled players at every level
- Promoting teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment
- Celebrating and strengthening our Irish language and cultural heritage.
From joyful nursery sessions to competitive adult fixtures, our focus is always on growth — as players and as people.
Whether you’re five or fifty, there’s a place for you here.
Nursery & Juvenile
A fun, safe introduction to hurling and camogie where young players build skills, friendships, and confidence, with structured coaching that supports progression, teamwork, and competitive spirit. We are also proud to have secured a dedicated coach who works in our local national schools in the area once a week, helping develop their skills and love for the game during school hours. This strengthens the connection between our club and community and ensures more young players have the opportunity to experience new games.
Adult Players
Competitive and social opportunities for new, returning, and experienced players. It’s never too early — and never too late to get involved. Participation builds character, resilience, and lifelong friendships. Every player matters. Every contribution counts.
Summer Fun & Development

- Go Games – Giving young players the opportunity to learn, compete, and enjoy hurling and camogie in a positive, supportive setting.
- Local Blitzes – Bringing neighbouring clubs together for exciting match days full of teamwork, encouragement, and community spirit.
